Lauren Alaina was invited to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday (December 18th) night. Earlier this fall she marked her 50th appearance on the Opry.
Lauren was invited to join the Opry by member and friend/mentor Trisha Yearwood, who surprised Lauren on stage with the invitation.
An emotional Lauren dropped to her knees and finally uttered a winded, “Yes!”
Lauren will be formally inducted into the Opry family on an early 2022 date to be announced soon.
