We are in the presence of royalty today! Our Wet Nose Wednesday star for this week has been named The Queen by one of our volunteers. We’re seeking a forever home worthy of our Queen where she will be loved and spoiled.
Queen Kira is about 13 months old and she’s been holding court at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center since July 16th. She’s a bit of a talker and has a nice purr. Kira has super soft fur, is very friendly and loves to play. This lady is negative for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV.) She’ll go to her new home spayed, microchipped and vaccinated appropriate to age.
The cat side at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center is very full right now. If you’re thinking about adopting a cat it’s time. Our friends at the Meow Mobile are offering special adoption pricing in the month of September. The adoption fee for kittens and cats has been reduced to $75. The adoption fee for senior cats (ages 8 and up) is just $25!
