Happy New Year!
Our final Wet Nose Wednesday star for 2022 would love to start the new year in a new home with a loving family. Max is a calm, sweet and gentle boy who has stolen the hearts of our volunteers. This handsome guy is a 2 year old Dutch Shepherd who was surrendered by his owner on November 1st. Max sits nicely for treats and he would love to go for walks then go home and warm up in front of the fire.
The kennels and cages at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center are full. There are many wonderful dogs and cats looking for a fresh start in the new year. Some of these great pets have been waiting months to be free from shelter and kennel life. Would you consider giving one of them a new life in the new year? Please come out to meet them Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 10:30-12:45. SCAC/AC will be closed Monday January 2nd for the New Years holiday.
Thanks to The Villas Senior Care Community in Sherman for sponsoring Wet Nose Wednesday!
