As we head into the holiday season and millions of packages being delivered across the country, a new study gives a very sad statistic. It says 210 million packages have been stolen by porch pirates this year already!
2 of out every 3 Americans say they’ve been a victim, that’s 36% more than 2020.
58% of recent victims say they have some form of security system in place, like a doorbell camera, and still it happens. However thanks to that camera 34% of the porch pirates have been caught. 38% arranged for carriers to leave parcels in a discreet spot.
