Wet Nose Wednesday: Jasmine

Jasmine, our Wet Nose Wednesday star for this week just can’t catch a break. This beautiful two year old German Shepherd mix girl is at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center for the third time. The first two times were as a stray and most recently as an owner surrender. This time around Jasmine has been here since the beginning of June. That’s way too long for a dog to be stuck living in a kennel!

Because Jasmine has had so much turmoil in her life, she needs an owner who is patient with her and is willing to put in the time and effort to give her the structure and attention she needs. She’ll need to learn how to be part of a family and walk nicely on a leash. Will this be easy? Maybe not. But will it be worth it? Absolutely! Jasmine has the potential to be a loving and loyal friend for years.
Jasmine is just one of many dogs at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center who are waiting for a new start in life. Are you ready for a new adventure? Come on out to SCAC/AC Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 10:30-12:45.
Thanks to The Villas Senior Care Community in Sherman for sponsoring Wet Nose Wednesday!
