Wet Nose Wednesday: Artemis

Our Wet Nose Wednesday star for this week may look familiar. Artemis was our Wet Nose Wednesday star on August 17th. Unfortunately she’s still waiting for the right person to fall in love with her and take her home.

Artemis is currently our longest time resident at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center. She’s been here since June 8th. Artemis was about a year old when she arrived as a stray. She’s spent almost half of her life in a kennel. She’s a big strong girl who loves being outside and being with people. After so many months of kennel life Artemis needs an adopter who is patient with her and will give her the time she needs to learn there is a better life for her with a family.
If you’re looking for a new family member and are willing to help a dog who has been in need of a home for a long time, please come out to Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center and meet Artemis Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 10:30-12:45.
Thanks to The Villas Senior Care Community in Sherman for sponsoring Wet Nose Wednesday!
